Which reminds me... how is the 'Lille shuffle' going these days? The 90
mins you sit around Lille Europe for the allegedly through Eurostar from the
south of France?

Oddly enough I did this on Friday - having forgotten that the Basel trains now leave from the Gare de Lyon instead of the Gare de l'Est - arriving at the Gare du Nord 2 minutes late at 1549, the RER ran bang on time and took exactly the promised 7 minutes, arriving at 1607. I still had to get my tickets from the machine and got to the 1623 to Basel/Zürich with 5 minutes to spare.
But it's nonsense anyway, if you want to go to Lyon you change at Lille (though I admit the SNCF gives cheaper fares via Paris).
