Hi,
I'm looking for approximated formulaes for estimate the distance that a
train needs for stopping according to it's speed.

Are there some approximated formulas somewhere.
In an other way, are there some tables that gives those distances ?

Thanks,
GB

Not sure why that happens - try a Google search for:

TractiveEffortAccelerationAndBraking.doc

That worked OK for me.
